February 18, 2014 Board Meeting Agenda Item #20 Title APPROVAL TO AWARD BID #14-0019 FOR EXCAVATION SERVICES Description Bids to provide 'Excavation Services' were received from seven vendors on January 28, 2014.  The bid of Allan Walker's Site Development was the best low bid meeting the advertised specifications based on a sealed scenario.  This bid is for a period of one year with the option to renew for two additional one-year periods.  The funds for these purchases are contained in the transfer from capital budget allocated to the Facilities Services Department. Recommendation That the bid of Allan Walker's Site Development, to provide 'Excavation Services' in an amount not to exceed $100,000.00, be approved as presented.
